Camping is available on the airport, at a nominal charge.
Showers are available in the clubhouse. Please keep these clean as they will be used by several of you , hopefully!
Limited RV parking is available. We can provide electrical hookups for RVs, and a "Blackwater Dump" site is available. Please let us know if you plan to bring an RV or motor home.
Off field
Below are descriptions, links, and various information for lodging in the area for the event:
The closest motel to the field is in a little town called Kershaw, about 15 minutes away by car. The motel is the Executive Inn. Jesse or Carolyn DuBose are the Managers. Phone: 803-475-7575.
The Executive Inn has a special rate of 44.80 including tax for 7 or more nights. Just mention you are a glider pilot or Bermuda High Soaring.
The town of Kershaw has two grocery stores (Small's and IGA) and a small hardware store. There are a few good little restaurants, a great Greek restaurant called Gus' , a Subway and Bojangles. If you are fairly well contained, it's a great option to stay close to the field.
Lancaster is 30 minutes away and thus a bit more of a drive. Lancaster has several restaurants, a Home Depot and several grocery stores from Walmart to BiLo to FoodLion! There are fast food restaurants galore (Taco Bell, Subway) and some chains like Ryans steak house and Applebees.

The Super 8 (803-283-1200), also in Lancaster, does not have a weekly rate, but has a nightly rate of $62.09 plus tax for a double for two people. A king is 54.89 plus tax. Tax is 12% by the way. The Super 8 is just across the street from the Jameson.
