Camping is available on the airport, at a nominal
charge.
Limited RV parking is available. We can provide
electrical hookups for RVs, and a dump site will be
available. Please let us know if
you plan to bring an RV or motor home.
Off field
Below are descriptions, links, and various information for lodging in the area for the
event:
The closest motel to the field is in a little town called Kershaw. It’s about 15 minutes away by car. The hotel in Kershaw is called the Executive Inn. Carolyn DuBose is the Manager. Phone: 803-475-7575. Their rate is $44.40 (includes tax per night), for a weekly rate, a total of $310.80 for 7 nights. The extended stay rate for 6 nights is $49.95.
Kershaw is small, but there is a Subway, a great Greek/Italian restaurant called
Gus’, two small grocery stores and a hardware store, but not much more! So if you are fairly well contained, then this would be an option.
Lancaster is 20 miles away and it’s about 30 minutes from the field. The Jameson Inn has breakfast and amenities! Lancaster has several restaurants, a Home Depot and several grocery stores from Walmart to BiLo to FoodLion! There are fast food restaurants galore (Taco Bell, Subway) and some chains like Ryans steak house and Applebees. The weekly rate for the Jameson Inn in Lancaster is $45.99 plus tax for 7 nights. The weekly rate total is $357.35 including tax. Nightly rate is $60.00 plus tax.

The Super 8 (803-283-1200), also in Lancaster, does not have a weekly rate, but has a nightly rate of $62.99 plus tax. The Super 8 is just across the street from the Jameson.
